PET GROOMING POLICY

Grooming Session

Grooming sessions are 3-4 hours.
You will receive a text or phone call when the groom is completed.
Grooming includes bath, ear cleaning/plucking, anal gland expression and nail clipping.
Bath service includes bath, ear cleaning/plucking, anal gland expression and nail clipping.
An additional mat fee may be charged depending on the condition of the coat because it

requires more time and care.

We reserve the right NOT to groom pets if the groomer believes that doing so would be

dangerous to the pet or staff.

If ticks are found, we will remove them. However, if there are more than 5 ticks we will contact

you right away to pick up your pet from the Salon.

 If fleas are found on your pet, it will be an additional $10 for the flea bath.

Vaccinations

Proof of updated rabies is required at first visit and when expired. Rabies tag is not sufficient.

Appointments/Cancellations/Pickup Policy

A $25 cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the

appointment.

Pets should be picked up within an hour of being notified that they are ready for pickup. Any

pet left for more than 5 hours will be charged our day board fee of $10.

Pets that are not picked up before closing will be boarded overnight and can be picked up the

following day during normal business hours. Pet owners will be responsible for boarding fees.

Advertising Permission

Critter Cuts routinely takes pictures after grooming and bath services to use in social

media/marketing campaigns. Notify staff if you do not want your pet featured in our
advertising.

PET BOARDING POLICY

1. Should any boarding animal become ill, or in need of any medical attention, we
reserve the right to administer aid and/or to use any available veterinarian. The pet
owner will pay any and all expenses incurred. We use Pamlico Animal Hospital and
after hours we use Pitt County Emergency Clinic.
2. Daily boarding charges begin at the date of arrival. The pet owner agrees to notify
Critter Cuts in advance if there is any change in the date the boarding pet is to be
picked up. No boarding animal will be released until all charges are paid in full. Any
animal left uncalled/unpaid for 7 days from the scheduled date of pick-up will be turned
over to Beaufort County Animal Shelter. The pet owner will be responsible for the
charges incurred in the care and maintenance of their pet.
3. The pet owner agrees to pay for any attorneys fees incurred by Critter Cuts in the
collection of any boarding, grooming or other charges.
4. Pet owners will be held liable for any injuries or property damage caused by their pet.
5. Pet owners must provide proof of updated Rabies and Bordetella at first visit and
when expired. Rabies tag is not sufficient.
6. If the pet(s) die(s), becomes ill, injured or lost the pet owner releases Critter Cuts
from any claim arising from such incident. If the pet(s) bites or injures Critter Cuts
employees, any other human or animal, the pet owner will be responsible for any
resulting injury and shall hold harmless and indemnify Critter Cuts from any claim or
suit that may be brought as a result of such an incident. In addition, the pet owner shall
hold harmless and indemnify Critter Cuts against any and all costs, expenses, losses,
liabilities and claims arising out of or relating to any acts of the pet(s) except for
negligence or intentional misconduct on the part of Critter Cuts.
7. Boarding Rate: $27.00 per day if you provide the food and $25.00 a day if Critter
Cuts provides the food.
